Season 2 Episode 8 How a 45 record and mix tape from Frank Murillo in 1983 changes Sully's Life.

Episode Summary

After 37 years Sully tracks down songwriter and musician Frank Murillo to thank him for turning him on to punk music. In a brief encounter in the fall of 1983 Sully is hanging out at Frank's house with his younger brother. Frank, who has never met Sully before, hands Sully a 45 of his band, Chapter 13 with the songs "Burn to Emptiness" and "Nuclear Car". A few days later Frank's younger brother hands Sully a mix tape that Frank had made for him. This 45 and this mix tape would define and give shape to the direction of Sully's life. This episode is also chock full of some cool music so get ready for another episode where Sully interviews the famously un-famous who are just as or more interesting than the famous.
